I've been lucky enough to know some really extraordinary people in my life. Not famous people, not perfect people — just people with this quiet, unshakeable way about them. The kind who chose kindness when no one was watching. Who did the right thing even when the wrong thing would have been so much easier. Who carried themselves with a dignity that had nothing to do with ego and everything to do with character.

This whole thing — the brand, the blog, the music, the late nights sewing and sketching and writing and taste-testing recipes — exists because of them. The High Road Company is my way of saying thank you. And my way of finding more people just like them.

What we’re All About

Here's what I believe, deep down in my bones: a great life is a full one.

It's good food — the kind you actually make, that fills your kitchen with something that smells like home. It's good music, the kind that finds you at exactly the right moment and just gets it. It's being outside when the light is doing something ridiculous and beautiful and you stop whatever you're doing just to take it in. It's having so many hobbies that people look at you sideways, and you just smile because you don't have time to explain all of it. It's the people around your table who stay too late because nobody wants the night to end.

That's the life we're chasing here. That's the life we make things for.

What We Make

We make small-batch, limited-quantity apparel — nothing cookie cutter, nothing you'll see coming and going on every corner. When something sells out, it's gone, because that's kind of the point. We also take custom commissions for apparel and art, because some things deserve to be made just for you, just for this moment, just for the person you're trying to honor or surprise or celebrate.

And then there's the blog, which is honestly just me writing about the things I love — nutrition, healthy living, getting outside, eating well, moving your body, feeding your soul. I'll probably also tell you about a song I can't stop listening to or a trail that made me cry a little. Fair warning.
